Lady Anne's Orchard Telescopic Umbrella
Crafted exclusively for Eleven Bibury by Lockwood Umbrellas, this telescopic umbrella brings together expressive Arts & Crafts pattern and world-class British craftsmanship.
Lockwood are recognised internationally for making some of the strongest, most durable umbrellas in the world, each one handmade using centuries-old techniques. A Grade-A steel frame, hand-sewn reinforcements, lathe-turned brass fittings and proofed, water-resistant cloth are combined with natural materials sourced for both beauty and performance. Handles are turned from sustainable hardwoods; cloths are woven by specialist mills. Properly cared for, a Lockwood umbrella is designed to last a lifetime.
For this special collaboration, the telescopic design is finished with our Lady Anne’s Orchard print - a richly detailed print created for Eleven Bibury by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. Inspired by the fruit trees and foliage of Lady Anne Evans’ walled garden in Bibury, the outer canopy carries the Orchard motif; the underside is a deep, contrasting green that echoes the shade of old garden walls and hedgerows. A hand-turned chestnut root handle provides a warm, tactile grip and a pleasing balance in the hand.
