Rooted in Britain’s folk-art traditions, Katie B Morgan makes hand-thrown earthenware slipware decorated with lively sgraffito carving and painted motifs. Trained as a decorative painter and restorer since 1985, Katie preserves endangered techniques from fairground, gypsy and canal art, translating their colour, rhythm and symbolism into functional pottery for the table and home. Each piece is individually formed, slip-trailed, carved and clear-glazed for everyday use-made in Gloucestershire.
